It is our intention to provide our clients with a professional and therapeutic massage. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and regular massage clients of 360 Massage. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding massage experience to all our clients and out of consideration for the therapists’ time, 360 Massage has adopted the following policies:
ARRIVAL TO YOUR MASSAGE
Please arrive for your appointment 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out the appropriate client form (new clients) if not filled out online prior to arrival, use the restroom, change and prepare for the service. All massages have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. The original treatment time will be charged.
At 360 Massage we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, traffic considerations, business meetings, and sudden family obligations are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all our clients, and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
The client may cancel an appointment without charge 24 hours before their scheduled appointment time. You will be sent an email or text reminder the day before your appointment so hopefully this will not be a problem. If you do not call to cancel your appointment and do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full amount of the scheduled service. If the service was prepaid it will be forfeited. If a client late-cancels or does not show up multiple times (2 or more), they will be asked to pre-pay for future services. Emergency situations will be taken into consideration- please note emergencies are sudden, unexpected events, as listed above.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will be charged.
NO SHOW POLICY
Clients who fail to show for appointments are responsible for payment and may be asked to pre-pay for future services. It is important that our massage therapists are compensated for reserved time slots. See “CANCELLATION POLICY” for more details on missed appointments.
We kindly request that you show up for your appointment wearing a mask. If you forget, a disposable one will be provided for you. All therapists and clients will be required to wear a mask throughout the massage session. Your therapist will check in with you about your comfort and make necessary positional adjustments. OUR POLICY REMAINS IN PLACE REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS. We continue to mask in our health care setting as recommended by WA Dept. of Health and King County Health Dept. Thank you for keeping our space safe for those who are more vulnerable or cannot be vaccinated.
All clients and therapists will be screened for Covid-19 symptoms which may include: a fever of 100 degrees or higher, cough, sore throat, respiratory or flu symptoms, shortness of breath, a new loss of smell or taste, a new rash. If you or anyone close to you has had any of these symptoms recently, or you’ve been around anyone with a diagnosis of Covid-19 in the past 14 days, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment at no charge to you. We will also take your temperature with a non-contact thermometer as you enter the space. If you do not have a fever, we will then ask that you sanitize your hands as you enter the treatment room with your practitioner. All therapists will be screened and have temperature checks prior to their shifts in the same manner, to protect you. Anyone who is unwell or potentially exposed to the coronavirus will stay home.
UPDATED TRAVEL POLICY: We ask that anyone who is unvaccinated against Covid-19 please wait 14 days after commercial travel or a large gathering before coming to a massage appointment. If vaccinated, please wait 5 days post-travel with a negative Covid test (or 14 days without test) before coming in.
In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, we ask that if you are sick (which includes a cold, a fever, the flu, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. This is for your wellbeing as well as the health of our employees, therapists and clients. Receiving a massage when you are sick is not advised. While in the early and acute stages of a cold, the flu or other illness, a massage can accelerate the onset of the infection and intensify its severity (via additional circulation of blood & lymph). If you get a massage after the infection has peaked, you may
experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again. Please wait until you have been well for at least a week before getting your massage. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please call us as soon as possible and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are feeling better.
Gratuities are not included in the prices of our services and are always appreciated. All gratuities are at the client’s discretion but are customarily 18-25% of the regular cost of service. Feel free to provide larger gratuities for exceptional service. Gift cards do not include gratuity unless specified.
